*To maintain high academic standards while serving high school capstone programs, NJAM utilizes a Two-Tiered Single-Blind Editorial and Practitioner Review model:
-
District Nomination & Screening: Classroom teachers utilize NJAM’s unified project rubric to mentor students and nominate top-tier capstones to district leadership. District CTE officials make the initial determination for journal candidacy which are then single-blind reviewed by the NJAM Editorial Board.
-
Practitioner & Industry Expert Review: The Editor-in-Chief and/or the NJAM Editorial Board evaluate nominated submissions through a single-blind editorial review. Our board works developmentally to refine, validate, and curate accepted submissions into publication-ready articles.
